About Me

Dilshad Keshwani hails from India. She has been practicing meditation since a child. She has three Masters to her credit. She served as a Teacher Trainer for 16 years in India.

Having been introduced to Yoga in 2000, she found herself home with the meditation practice. She first undertook her 200 hour Teacher training at The Yoga Institute, (Mumbai), India and then completed her 500 hour Ishta Yoga Teacher Training under Alan Finger, at Be Yoga, New York. She further completed advanced training in Therapeutic Yoga under Charles and Lisa Matkin and Restorative Teacher training at Kripalu Yoga.

In her teaching, she emphasizes Yoga practice with Asanas and Pranayama as meditation in movement. Yoga practice for her is the gateway to access the divinity and experience the union in one’s own body, mind and spirit.

She has a success story of leading Yoga retreats to India. Having lived in India for first 45years of life, she offers opportunities to explore Indian Culture and Yoga at a deeper level. She teaches regularly at Yogaworks, Pulse fitness, The Yoga Room, Self Help NORC and many other places in New York. She also teaches privates and workshops.
